Austin City Summer Water Polo 2024

  • What are these sessions about?
    • These are "learn to play" mini-camps for water polo.  Ages 7 through 18 encouraged.
  • Where are the locations?
    • We will have the camps at multiple city pools around town: Dick Nichols in the south; Northwest Park pool in the North.
  • What are the dates and times?
    • For Dick Nichols pool - 8-9am  July 16th through  July 26th (pool is closed on Mondays).
    • For Northwest Park - 8-9am July 29th through August 9th (pool is closed on Thursdays).
  • My child has has never played and may not be the strongest swimmer.
    • We welcome all levels - everybody has something to learn. We suggest that the player be able to swim at least 25 yards without stopping. If they need to rest on the wall that is ok.
  • What are the fees?
    • The sesession participation fee is $80. This covers pool space, equipment, and coaching.
    • Please make checks out to: Austin Water Polo Club OR pay via Paypal on this page:  Administration
  • What is needed to play?
    • No equipment other than a swimsuit is needed. Goggles can be worn only during swimming, not during water polo play.
  • What are the steps to participate?
    • First step - send an email to the address below with your child's name, age, and desired location
    • There are two forms to fill out  and print - please bring them to the first practice.
